- Valid original passport (Valid at least for 6 months from departure date & min. 3 empty pages)
- Filled out and signed Ethiopia visa application form. Ethiopia E-Visa applicants must apply online HERE
Note: Eritrean passport holders must also: 1. fill out special Ethiopia visa application form. 2. Enclose the signed letter in Eritrean language addressed to the Embassy of Ethiopia, containing among others the information on a) has the applicant been deported or not from Eritrea b) method of coming to Canada c) membership in political parties. - Flight itinerary. For Multiple entry visa, the flight itinerary must show that at least one more entry is planned within 3 months.
- One passport size photo. (Photo facility is available on-site - TORONTO, OTTAWA, MARKHAM & VANCOUVER). Please note that photos from photo booth or home-shot photos are not acceptable.
- For travelers of less than 18 years old: notarized child travel permit statement made by the non-traveling parent(s). If you apply in one of our offices we can provide notarization service (additional fee applies).
- Persons WITH DUAL citizenship, ONE of which IS Canadian, must apply WITH their Canadian passports only. Applicants WITH other THAN Canadian passports must provide the copy of the document confirming their current resident STATUS IN Canada (PR Card, Landed Document, WORK Permit)
- E-visa applicants must apply only with the passports from eligible countries: Canada, USA, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, North Korea, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom.

- All types of business visa applicants must apply first to the office of Main Department for
Immigration & Nationality affairs in Ethiopia/Addis Ababa by the applicant's sponsoring
organization or company. After the confirmation the visa process will be finalized here in Canada.
